Women's Ministry

Parkway’s women’s ministry offers every woman at every life stage, opportunities to meet new grown–up girlfriends and discover together God’s special plan for women. We offer a weekly Bible study on Sunday and Wednesday evenings. Our women's ministry also sponsors special events throughout the year. In the fall we have our Celebration Tea and in the spring we have our annual Ladies Retreat. Each of these events are open to all ladies and have powerful speakers and times of worship. We also participate in missions opportunities such as the Operation Christmas Child, hygiene kits for ICU Waiting Rooms, and Women's Pregnancy Homes.

None Like Him by Jen Wilkin. This study began September 10 and will continue until February 4.

Our Rubies Bible Study meets from September to May at 5:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall. This small group time includes Bible study and fellowship.

Beginning February 11, from 5:00-6:15 p.m., we begin a new study, Sermon on the Mount, and move from learning about God’s character to this most practical instruction guide from Jesus, teaching us how to live out God’s perfect plan. Here is the Bible’s essential toolbox for Christian women.

1 Peter: A Living Hope in Christ by Jen Wilkin Wednesdays, beginning January 10, at 6:30 p.m.

Our inheritance through Christ is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading. In 1 Peter, a man of faith and flaws and eyewitness to the life of Christ challenges us to look beyond our current circumstances to a future inheritance. He shares his concerns on big picture issues for the early church, describes believers’ true identity in Christ, and ultimately helps readers discover what it means to experience the Living Hope they have in Christ. Key themes of humility, submission, and identity in Christ guide the study of 1 Peter as participants are challenged to read the book in its entirety each week. (9 sessions)
